You can even stand up or leave your work table and walk around for a few minutes to exercise your legs and hands.
Maintain good posture
Usually, people who are sewing hunch over their machines while they are working. This poor posture will lead to back pain at the end of the day. So, once you notice yourself slouching or stooping over your work table, straighten your body right away to avoid posture problems.
Rest your eyes
Another health risk of sewing is straining your eyes. This happens when you keep on looking at one thing for a long period of time. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you rest your eyes too. As much as possible, try to focus your eyes on things that are farther away.
